1. When did you know you wanted to model? I became interested in modeling when I started developing an interest in fashion, alternative fashion in particular.

2. What was your first modeling job? I modeled for a fashion show at my local mall.

3. Who are some models you look up to? Anja Rubik, because of her different, daring hairstyle. Agyness Deyn, because of her original and awesome clothing style. Twiggy, for her awesome makeup and inspiration. And Tyra Banks, because she is beautiful and comfortable in her own skin, and combats impossible weight standards.

4. Being a model lots of people may think you never feel insecure but are there ever times when you feel that way? All the time, as people are constantly sizing you up and are judging you based on your looks. There is always someone who is slimmer than you, or has better skin, etc. I am happy with my looks and body, but of course I still have insecurities.

5. What would you tell someone who wants to get into modeling or any dream they have? I would tell them to prepare for a tough road, make sure they keep their head held high, and to believe they can do it because there are always going to be people telling you that you can’t.

6. Where do you see yourself in the years to come? I hope to be furthering my education. I hope for my career as a model to blossom. I would also like to be a part of an organization which promotes positive self-esteem and body image for young women.
